The emerging digital ad category of “Native Advertising” is garnering attention across the industry. The first Wall Street report on the topic by Dan Salmon of BMO released late last month pointed out that, “The most commonly cited challenge for native advertising is scaling campaigns.” This morning, we answered the question of native advertising’s scalability by surpassing 100 million pre-qualified users – people engaged at that moment – on the web, social and mobile.
In addition to pointing out that appssavvy’s adtivity platform has surpassed reach of 103+ million people, we believe that native advertising in 2013 will lead to the fall of the banner thanks to new platforms, like adtivity, offering formats that are native to the user experience.
